Aniston expressed her reluctance to take on the role of Janet, played by DeWitt, because Janet had short hair, and Aniston didn’t want to cut her own hair for the role. During a conversation with Drew, Aniston asked if Drew would be willing to have short hair for the role.

She wasn’t a fan of it: McMillan, who is also the one responsible for giving her The Rachel haircut, has not always hit the mark with Jennifer Aniston’s hairstyles. Aniston expressed her dislike for The Rachel, stating that it was not her most flattering look. “I think it was the worst haircut I’ve ever had,” she shared with Allure magazine.
